Red Sox Victory and First Frost Signal End to Baseball 2007
It is somehow very ironic that with the Red Sox World Series victory putting an end to the 2007 baseball season we had our very first frost here in the Boston area. All through the playoffs and fall classic we have had unseasonably warm, summer like, weather. Now, as if to punctuate the end of baseball it is finally becoming very fall like…
I had heard rumors for some time that there was a football season going on. So this morning after reading all of the Red Sox coverage (this is Boston, there was a lot of it…) I decided to take a look at the rest of the sports section and low and behold… the Patriots are 8-0… the Boston College Eagles are the number 2 football team in the country…
Upon further exploration… the Bruins actually having a winning start to their 07/08 season… many are actually picking the Celtics to be a major contender this season… the New England Revolution are in the playoffs…
It’s not a bad time to be a Boston sports fan…
