There is just something about college sports. Rooting for the underdog is very often rewarded. The big nationally ranked teams fall to lesser or unranked teams on a regular basis. The 2007 college football season was testimony to that.

The latest example comes from basketball: Wake Forest 86 - Duke (#2) 73. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons went into the game 16-8. They ended Duke’s 12 game winning streak giving them only their second loss of the season. Wake Forest also broke a 5 game losing streak in their series with Duke. But beating them by 13 points - priceless…
